What would you first associate the devil with? Probably something bad, right? Because they are considered to be the personification of something bad and dark👿 But what if I told you that devils can also represent justice - you would probably laugh at the thought.
But there are stories where the devils are not so bad and they keep order - it is Czech literature. Here hell represents judgement on people and those who have sinned too much go to hell. In these stories, however, there is always a main character who is helped by the devils😁
One of these stories is the film Give the Devil His Due. It shows well how hell is a judgment for people who sin, especially if they have committed more great sins than Peter's stepmother. In this film, Peter is the main character who is helped by the devil because his stepmother wants to take his mill, which was the main reason she married his father😲
The film has a strong comic note, as the priors themselves are comically portrayed among the devils. So I recommend this film to all lovers of good classics and to those who just love action and comedy😉 So enjoy watching the film and be good so the devils wont take you too👤
