A day trip in beautiful Brno

Two weeks ago I visited the beautiful city of Brno, and I have to say it was absolutely fantastic! My adventures started at the magnificent Gothic Catholic Cathedral, which boasts a baroque interior and bells that announce noon at the unusual 11 o'clock - as if Brno had its own time dimension! But that's not all - this church also houses a museum and a lookout tower where the bell towers are located. Just as I was at the top of the tower, the bells started ringing and let me tell you, they were so loud that I felt like I was at a banging rock concert from Iron Maiden!

The next stop was Bunker 10-Z, a nuclear shelter. Built during World War II to protect against American and Soviet bombs, this bunker is the perfect thing for history buffs and adventurers. Walking through the dark corridors and reflecting on the past made me feel like I was part of a spy story😎

Then I visited a still working lift that never stops. Yes, you read that right! It is a passenger lift made up of a chain of open compartments, each usually for two people. They move slowly up and down without stopping. But I warn you, you must be careful when operating these lifts! I was a bit scared of being accidentally crushed😖

After a long day full of adventures, I finally stopped by the Pivna Burza pub. There I felt like a real financial tycoon, because it is a beer buying exchange. Prices change and you can pay different prices for the same beer. In the end, I had a refreshing beer at a good price and felt like a winner!

Brno is truly a city of surprises and wonderful experiences. I can't wait to go back and discover more hidden treasures!
